Indore Metro Train' to undergo main trial run on Sep 30, 2023
At the Gandhinagar depot, three metro coaches have been assembled for trial
'Super Priority Corridor,'covers a distance of 5.8 km including five stations
The train, comprising three coaches, was tested. During the pre-testing trials for safety measures
During pre tests the train was operated at a speed of 3 to 4 kilometres per hour.
The flag-off ceremony will be by Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh on 30sep 2023

System Specifications of Indore Metro
At present, only line-3 (yellow line) is operational; the rest are yet in the planning stage.
Indore Metro is the first metro system in India to use the 'third-rail' system for power supply.
